Outfit of the Day – Warm Summer Christening

Outfit of the Day

Warm Summer Christening

The weather has been quite strange this summer where I live. One week I was wearing a jumper in the office, the next I was in a summer dress and sandals. It’s been humid and cloudy, we’ve had brilliant sunshine, we’ve had torrential rain. And I never really know what to wear to Christening’s anyway. I wanted to be dressy and look good, but it also needed to be respectable enough for Church.

Haul – H&M, New Look, Primark, The Body Shop, Boots, Superdrug and Debenhams – April 2014

Haul

H&M, New Look, Primark, The Body Shop, Boots, Superdrug and Debenhams

April 2014

I’ve done so much shopping lately, and I don’t really have any excuse, but I thought I’d share what I’ve been buying recently. This is an embarrassingly large haul, but some of it my sister got me for Easter, so I don’t feel too bad, and some things I am classing as essentials. Also, due to my blogging schedule, things are things I bought in April.

Starting with H&M, I got this slightly oversized jumper with black writing and a picture of the Eiffel Tower on it. This was a total bargain at only £5.99 and it is so soft and comfortable.

Outfit of the Day – Relaxed City Sightseeing on a Warm Spring Day

Outfit of the Day

Relaxed City Sightseeing on a Warm Spring Day

So this is the second Outfit of the Day post from my trip to Paris back at the end of March. This is the outfit I wore on our second and last full day in Paris, when we had a much more relaxed schedule than the first day. You can see my Outfit of the Day post for our first day by clicking here. On this day we went to the Palace of Versailles and then went in Notre Dame Cathedral on our way back to the hotel. This was my favourite day, I absolutely loved Versailles, particularly the gardens and especially the music gardens.

Outfit of the Day – Busy Day City Sightseeing in Spring

Busy Day City Sightseeing in Spring

So this is an Outfit of the Day post from my trip to Paris with my mum at the end of March, but due to having other things I wanted to post, I somehow haven’t got any of my Outfit of the Day posts scheduled and up yet. I hope you don’t mind that this is slightly old, as I really wanted to share this. And pretty much every photo of me in this outfit, I am posing in front of some Paris landmark.

Haul – New Look, Boots, Avon, British Home Stores, Primark and H&M – March 2014

Haul

New Look, Boots, Avon, British Home Stores, Primark and H&M

March 2014

Once again, as in my last haul post, many of these items have been bought with my holidays in mind. I’m trying not to get too excited too early, but its difficult. I can’t wait to have some time off work! This is the accumulating of several shopping trips with my mum and sister over the course of March, I did not buy this all on one day. But expect a good couple more haul posts from me, I really need to get my holiday wardrobe sorted and I need to do it now, because my wages closer to my holidays I’ll want to use for spending money.

Firstly from New Look I got this lovely casual blue summer dress. I’m nor entirely sure if I will take this away with me or if I will wear it to work this summer.

Outfit of the Day – Winter Day At The Shopping Mall

Winter Day At The Shopping Mall

I really like doing Outfit of the Day posts, even though my knowledge of fashion is minimal. So I thought I’d share with you what I wore when I went on a shopping trip to the Metrocentre (a really large shopping mall in the north east of England) with my mum and sister the other day.

Outfit of the Day – Casual Autumn Night At A Show

Outfit of the Day

Casual Autumn Night At A Show

It seems like ages since I’ve done an Outfit of the Day post. I’ve thought about and even planned out in my head a couple over the last two months or so but I never got around to actually doing them. But anyway, on to this actual post.

So the other night mum and I went to see Jesus Christ Superstar. And although this can be classed as a theatre show, this show was not playing in theatres but instead in arenas. Therefore I didn’t feel the need to go all theatre dressy and actually dress up. Instead I went decidedly casual. Seeing Jesus Christ Superstar (especially with a cast including Tim Minchin, Ben Forster, Melanie Chisholm, Chris Moyles and Alex Hansen) was a dream come true for me and I really didn’t want to have to spend time worrying about what I was wearing. My main aim was to be comfortable, there was no way I was going to risk missing anything or not giving the show my full attention because I felt uncomfortable.
