Dolphin Watching and Cave Exploring Boat Trip on Holiday
The main purpose of this outfit, was mostly about being practical. Towards the end of our holiday in Portugal, my parents and I went on a boat trip Dolphin watching and to see the local caves. We went with a company called Dolphin Driven and if anyone is going to Albufeira in Portugal then I highly recommend them. It was absolutely amazing, but it did present me with a bit of a dilemma about what to wear. While the weather in Portugal was hot while we were there, many days did start out quite overcast and cloudy, but still very warm and muggy, before the sun managed to burn through the cloud, and sometimes this took past midday. There was also a very strong breeze a lot of the time, which made it quite deceiving how warm it was at times.
What’s In My Travel Makeup Bag?
So, now that I’m back from Portugal (I wish I was still there), I thought I’d do an updated What’s In My Travel Makeup Bag post. My makeup collection has expanded a lot since I done my Spring What’s In My Travel Makeup Bag post from my trip to Paris. And also since I went for two weeks, I took a fairly sizeable chunk of it with me.
For face and eye products I used this sturdy, see through bright green bag, which I got from WH Smith and is technically supposed to be a pencil case, but it worked brilliantly for makeup.

Warm First Night Abroad
Expect a few Outfit of the Day posts from me not that I’m back from Portugal (unfortunately – wish I was still there!). This is my Outfit from the first night we were there, following a long day of travelling.
Sunkissed Summer Tag
I saw this tag on YouTube and thought it looked really fun and decided that I had to give it a go. I’m loving summer now that it is here and by the time this posts I will be in Portugal! I’m really looking forward to some sun, sea and sand! And some much needed R&R! So, onto the Tag questions!
1. What is your go-to product for a sun kissed summer glow? (bronzer, self tanner, etc.)
I love bronzers and my current favourite is my Bronze Block in the shade light from Sleek.
What’s In My Travel Cosmetics Bag?
By the time this post goes live I will be in Portugal! Excited does not cover it. Anyway, I’m trying to schedule posts well ahead so that they will still go live on my blog every other day, something I’ve amazed myself by managing since the beginning of the year. (Now I just need to hope people are reading and enjoying them). So anyway, I thought I’d share the things I’m taking away with me, cosmetics wise.
So most of my cosmetics will fit in this small bag with a gorgeous sunset palm tree design on it which my sister got me for my birthday from H&M. And it really is amazing how much you can fit into a bag when you need to! Of course, most of the things are travel size, but still, I’ve got a lot in there! And these are in no particular order, just whatever I grabbed first when I dumped everything I wanted to take out onto my bed.
Boots, Superdrug and Home Bargains
So my recent skincare and makeup addiction is continuing and I’ve bought a couple of things recently which I thought I’d share. Some of these, especially from Home Bargains, I class as essential products as I’m going to be taking them to Portugal with me in less than four weeks and I really need to start getting prepared!
I’ll start with what I got at Boots. Firstly I got a Revlon Colorburst Lacquer Balm in Demure. This is a lovely neutral shade, perfect for day time wear and all year round, with just a hint of shimmer.
Zara, Topshop, H&M, Superdrug, Boots and Candy Hero
I have been such a shopaholic recently, which totally isn’t like me, and I have no excuse except that my younger sister is a bad influence when we go out. And as she’s the only sister I have I often can’t resist treating her to a few things, since I’m the one with more disposable income. Although one this trip to York I bought for us in some shops, and she bought for us in others. That’s just the way we end up doing things. A lot of what we bought was makeup once again, and in particular lip products, both my sister and I are obsessed with lip products at the moment!
Starting with Zara, I got this super cute light yellow t-shirt with a picture of a cactus on it and the phrase “I’m Awesome Hug Me”, which I just thought was so cute and I thought the colours in it are perfect for spring! I can’t wait to wear it with some pale jeans and sandals, if only the weather would cooperate! It’s definitely still too cold for sandals here at the moment!
Outfit of the Day
Relaxed City Sightseeing on a Warm Spring Day
So this is the second Outfit of the Day post from my trip to Paris back at the end of March. This is the outfit I wore on our second and last full day in Paris, when we had a much more relaxed schedule than the first day. You can see my Outfit of the Day post for our first day by clicking here. On this day we went to the Palace of Versailles and then went in Notre Dame Cathedral on our way back to the hotel. This was my favourite day, I absolutely loved Versailles, particularly the gardens and especially the music gardens.

Busy Day City Sightseeing in Spring
So this is an Outfit of the Day post from my trip to Paris with my mum at the end of March, but due to having other things I wanted to post, I somehow haven’t got any of my Outfit of the Day posts scheduled and up yet. I hope you don’t mind that this is slightly old, as I really wanted to share this. And pretty much every photo of me in this outfit, I am posing in front of some Paris landmark.
At the top of the Eiffel Tower!
If you’ve read any of my recent blog posts then you may be aware I took a trip to Paris recently, it was definitely mentioned in passing a couple of times. And although it was much more of a sight seeing and spending time with my mum trip than a shopping trip I did pick up a handful of things that I want to share. All of these things were bought from little tourist shops near our hotel, we were about a five to ten minute walk from Notre Dame Cathedral, which is amazing, may I add.
