Black Cats and Witches Hats
I’ll be perfectly honest, I’m not actually a huge fan of Halloween but you’d never know that considering the amount of Halloween nail art I’ve fine this year. You can click here to see my Frankenstein nail art, here to see my Spiders and Webs nail art and here to see my Dracula nail art. This is the last Halloween nail art design I’ve done for this year and I’m calling it Black Cats and Witches Hats. Again it’s not the most original of designs, but I still wanted to share it.
One nail art look I really wanted to create this autumn was a Dracula nail art look. Once again you can find loads of different versions if you look on google, but I wanted to share my take on them. And this is the look I came up with. I didn’t have loads of time, so Dracula himself is only on my accent nail. He turned out a lot cuter then I thought he would, so this is how I created this look.
Spiders and Webs
I felt the need to do some more Halloween nail art. There isn’t anything particularly original about this design, but I wanted to share it with you anyway. This design was pretty easy to create, the webs are a little bit detailed.
So now that it is October I am no longer classing it as too early for Halloween Nail Art. I went away in October last year and barely got to do any Halloween nail art, so I’m determined to make up for it this year. So the first Halloween Nail Art I’ve created this year are these simple Frankenstein nails. There are loads of tutorials out there for Frankenstein nails, but I thought I’d share my version of them with you.
Sunny’s Body Products Seasonal Box
So I discovered Sunny’s Body Products when I was reading The PolishAholic’s website. And I was immediately curious, and was also in the market for some new hand care. And once I discovered that Sunny’s Body Products ship internationally, I decided to try some. And the best way to try a few items seemed to me to be to pick up the limited edition seasonal box. And this one is Halloween themed. You can find Sunny’s Body Products on their website here.
The box contains six different products in six different scents. And although not all the products are technically full sized, none of them are small! And there was also a few sweets added in, which I’m really excited about because America seems to have the best sweets, which we can’t get over here in England.
Okay, so I let myself go a little crazy on the Lush website a couple of days ago and this fairly large haul is the result! Most of the items I bought are from the Christmas and Halloween 2013 collections, or from the retro collection. I didn’t really need any Lush products, I still have quite a few left from when I last bought from the Lush website in around March/April time. Pretty much most of the Lush products I buy are for the bath, so I’ve made a promise to myself that I will use my Lush products more often. I’m thinking about doing a series of posts entitled something like “Lush Products I’ve Used This Week.” Let me know what you think of that idea. But that’s for another post, for now, let me share with you what I bought from Lush.
I ♥ Autumn Tag
Okay, so this is apparently a tag going around on YouTube but I’m definitely a person who loves the autumn and since I don’t have the facility to make videos I thought I’d answer the questions is a blog post. The first person I saw do this tag is one of my all time favourite YouTubers, Andréa Matillano, check out her channel here, she is amazing, I watch all her videos. I think it was originally an I ♥ Fall tag, but I’m English and we call it autumn! So onto the questions!
1. Favourite Autumn lip product?
At the moment the lip product I’m reaching for the most is a Benefit Lip Gloss in Who Does Your Work, which is a nice dark reddish colour, with a slightly purpley look, but it isn’t too dark. Or if I’m wanting a very natural look I’m loving Vaseline’s Limited Edition Lip Therapy in Pink Bubbly, which just gives the palest pink tint to your lips and it also smells delicious!
