Outfit of the Day
Hen Party Night Out
So it was my sister’s Hen Party the other weekend and I wanted to do a quick Outfit of the Day post to share what I wore when we went out on the night. We went to the Dreamboys show at Leeds and then stayed in the nightclub there, so we all got dressed up.
The dress I wore was from Topshop. It was a nude colour with black lace and black mesh sleeves. I absolutely love it and the lace is designed in such a way that I looked and felt really skinny.
I definitely didn’t feel brave enough to go bare legged, so I wore a thick pair of black tights from Primark.
For footwear I wore this black pair of boots, which have about a four inch platform heel. These are from the brand Truffle and I got them from Asos.
I used a small black clutch bag which I borrowed from a friend at work. She’d had it for a couple of years and thinks it was from wither Warehouse or Mango.
The dress was so fancy that I didn’t feel the need for any jewellery apart form the obligatory bright pink hen party sash.
I had straightened my hair and pulled it back from my face in a tight, high ponytail. However it started to give me a head ache mid way through the night so I ended up wearing it down.
On my nails I wore Alanna Renee’s Golden Snitch, which is one of my all time favourite gold nail varnishes but which I don’t have a photo of.
I kept my makeup neutral and went for a bold red lip colour. I used my lip cream from Topshop on the shade Fox.
And I finished everything off with a squirt of my favourite perfume for Spring – Chanel’s Coco Mademoiselle.
Pink lights in the club making everything look funky.
With my sister – I love this photo and I love how my makeup looks in it.
With the Dreamboys.
