Top Five Dark Blue Nail Varnishes
As of Spring 2014
It seems like forever since I last done a Top Five post, so next in my Top Five series are my Top Five favourite dark blue nail varnishes. I’ve already listed my top five light blue nail varnishes and you can see all other posts in my Top Five series by clicking here. Blue is one of my favourite colours anyway and it’s definitely one of my favourite colours to wear on my nails and when I was thinking about varnishes I wanted to feature in this post because they hadn’t fit into my top five light blues, I came to the conclusion that I’m going to have to do a Top Five Medium Blue post as well, so that will be coming soon. This poor post, I’ve had it finished for a while now, but with me attempting to schedule posts ahead so I always have one going up every other day, this just kept getting shoved to the back as I had things I needed/wanted to go up sooner. But for now, on to my Top Five Dark Blue Nail Varnishes, in reverse order.
In Fifth place is NYX’s Titantic. I love this colour, but it only makes fifth place because it chips really quickly on me. It’s a gorgeous deep metallic blue though. One of the things that attracted me to this nail varnish originally was the name.
The Body Shop Haul
Yikes! Yet another haul post! I keep saying that I’m going to curb my spending but somehow it hasn’t happened yet… Anyway, I had a voucher code for The Body Shop, where I got so much off, so I bought a couple of things. I only really needed one of the things which I bought, the others are simply things I wanted. Like I said, I seem to have no self-restraint at all recently!
Bath Melt Review
Bomb Cosmetics – Forget Me Not Bath Creamer
The Forget Me Not Bath Creamer from Bomb Cosmetics is one of only two products I have repurchased from Bomb Cosmetics. You can see it in hauls here and here. That is not to say that I’ve disliked any of the products I’ve bought from Bomb Cosmetics, they just have so many other products I want to try as I’ve loved everything I’ve tried from them so far. So the fact that I have repurchased this speaks volumes about how much I like this product.
Boots and Superdrug
So, I’ve been a little makeup and cosmetics crazy recently. I needed some things and I wanted some new things to try so I bought a couple of things from Superdrug and Boots. Compared to some of my other hauls recently, this is fairly small (thank goodness).
Nail Varnish Review
Models Own – Golden Peach
I’ve had this nail varnish for so long and was quite surprised that it hasn’t featured on my blog when I complied my list for my Nail Varnishes That Haven’t Featured On My Blog post. I really do like this colour although now that I think about it this varnish does pre date my Nails of the Month series, if it does not pre date my blog itself. So needless to say I’ve had this nail varnish for a couple of years. Despite the fact I’ve had this nail varnish for years I know that it is still available, both in Boots and on the Models Own website.
Zara, Topshop, H&M, Superdrug, Boots and Candy Hero
I have been such a shopaholic recently, which totally isn’t like me, and I have no excuse except that my younger sister is a bad influence when we go out. And as she’s the only sister I have I often can’t resist treating her to a few things, since I’m the one with more disposable income. Although one this trip to York I bought for us in some shops, and she bought for us in others. That’s just the way we end up doing things. A lot of what we bought was makeup once again, and in particular lip products, both my sister and I are obsessed with lip products at the moment!
Starting with Zara, I got this super cute light yellow t-shirt with a picture of a cactus on it and the phrase “I’m Awesome Hug Me”, which I just thought was so cute and I thought the colours in it are perfect for spring! I can’t wait to wear it with some pale jeans and sandals, if only the weather would cooperate! It’s definitely still too cold for sandals here at the moment!
Bomb Cosmetics Haul
So, I may have placed another order on the Bomb Cosmetics website… I’m not really going to try to justify this except to say that I did need a new candle and that they had sent me an email stating if you spend over £35 you would get a free gift box of bath products worth over £12. Well with that in mind I lost any self control and placed an order for £35. However, knowing that I still have some bath products left and that I would get some if my gift box I only got a few bath products and tried some other things from them.
