Tag – Sweater Weather Tag – November 2013

Sweater Weather Tag

November 2013

So this is a tag going around YouTube at the moment, which I just had to do. It’s a bit like an updated version of the I ♥ Autumn Tag from this time last year and I’ve watched so many of the Sweater Weather Tag videos recently. And since I’m English I’ve replaced any references to Fall to Autumn, simply because I’m like that!

1. Favourite candle scent?

Currently it’s Cinnamon Sugared Donut from Bath & Body Works. This is one of the few Bath & Body Works candles I have tried, I bought one off eBay last year after hearing loads about it on YouTube and completely fell in love with the scent so I bought another one this autumn.

2. Coffee, tea, or hot chocolate?

Now that really depends because I like all three. I usually only have hot chocolate when I want something really comforting. I drink a lot of tea at home with my parents and at work, but if I am meeting someone “for coffee” then I will generally tend to have coffee, its only something I’ve started to drink recently though.

3. What’s the best fall memory you have?

I have loads of good memories at this time of year, mostly involving firework night, cool crisp days at the beach and some special sunsets by the river watching some birds and some seals.

4. Which makeup trend do you prefer: dark lips or winged eyeliner?

Neither. I can not apply winged eyeliner and I’m not brave enough to go for dark lips.

5. Best fragrance for fall?

After wearing Estée Lauder’s Bronze Goddess all summer I am currently loving Benefit’s Lookin’ To Rock Rita.

6. Favourite Thanksgiving food?

We don’t celebrate Thanksgiving in England so I honestly couldn’t say.

7. What is Autumn weather like where you live?

It varies. We get everything from pretty mild weather to loads of rain to cold but clear to snow. So far this year we’ve had everything but the snow and that’s forecast for next week!

8. Most worn sweater?

I love sweaters, or jumpers, as they’re often called here in England and I’ve bought a couple of new ones for this coming autumn and winter which I can’t wait to try. My most worn jumper for wearing out is this one from Mango, from the Kate Moss collection. It’s a loose knit sweater in neutral colours with a little bit of metallic gold thread in there as well. If I’m just lazing around the house my favourite jumper is this grey one from Henry Holland with glitter stars on the sleeves.

9. Must-have nail varnish this autumn?

It’s impossible to choose just one as I have so much nail varnish. But I do like the jewel tones at this time of year such as China Glaze’s Harvest Moon, which is currently a favourite of mine. I also like darker colours such as Zoya’s Cola and OPI’s Casino Royale.

10. Football games or jumping in leaf piles?

Okay, so this question probably refers to what I would class as “American Football” but I’m going to take it as what I class as football (soccer) and that is my answer as I’m a season ticket holder at my local club and my dad and I also follow a non-league club so a lot of my weekends are filled with football.

11. Skinny jeans or leggings?

That’s difficult as I wear both but I’d probably have to go with skinny jeans.

12. Combat boots or Uggs?

Uggs all the way, or Ugg style at least!

13. Is pumpkin spice worth the hype?

I think so, I’ve only had it on a couple of occasions at Starbucks but I really enjoyed it.

14. Favourite autumn TV show?

Autumnwatch. I wasn’t really impressed that we only got 4 shows this year (and all in the same week). I enjoyed it more with the old format of one show a week over a period of six to eight weeks, that way you get to see more of the wildlife and see the season change more and the effects of migration more. But it’s still my favourite TV show in autumn and I was really happy this year as I have actually visited that RSPB reserve.

15. What song really gets you into the autumn spirit?

My taste in music is really varied anyway and I don’t have a song which really reminds me of autumn. To be honest the music which reminds me most of this season is any of the songs I’ve forgot about which I hear on Strictly Come Dancing!
