The Nail Wheel of Fortune!

The Nail Wheel of Fortune!

So, for the month of February at least, my Nails of the Month post is going to be a little different. I’ve decided to do what I’m going to call the Nail Wheel of Fortune. This was inspired by one of my favourite people to watch on YouTube, ChaChaCakes. If you haven’t watched her videos, check out her channel here, I totally love her and the all the videos she does, but especially her nail varnish videos.

So basically what I’m going to do is close my eyes and randomly pick a colour on my nail wheels and then wear that colour. Now I was going to say that I have too many nail varnishes, but there’s no such thing as too many nail varnishes, right? But I do have way too many that I don’t wear that often, so this is a way for me to use a varnish which I wouldn’t ordinarily reach for.

If I do happen to choose a really sheer or jelly varnish, or a glitter top coat or a crackle top coat, then I will allow myself to layer those varnishes. I will also allow myself to create an accent nail, but otherwise I will just be wearing the varnish I have picked. I have about 4 or 5 nail varnishes which aren’t swatched on any wheels right now because I’m out of room (I arrange my nail wheels by colour) but I do have some ordered and hopefully they will be here soon. But until then I know I won’t be wearing any of those varnishes. Also in the unlikely event that I do managed to pick the same nail varnish twice, I will pick again.

I just think this is a really fun way to use my nail varnishes and I hope you’ll enjoy seeing all the random colours I’ll probably be wearing in my February Nails of the Month post.
